Earlier this year, Habia Cable announced changes to its customer interface. The change means that most of the offer, design engineering and order processing will be concentrated to the production facilities in Europe and Asia.
‘The purpose is to be able to act and interact in faster and more flexible ways, both internally and externally’, explains Carl Modigh, CEO of Habia Cable. ‘Today everything needs to go faster and be more efficient, so for us it’s important to work in a smarter way forward.’
Habia Cable is now establishing dedicated Customer Centres in each of its production facilities in Söderfors (Sweden), Norderstedt (Germany), Lubieszyn (Poland) and Changzhou (China). In the centres, design engineers, internal sales and order administrators will work alongside logistics and production functions.
‘In this way, we will be able to respond more quickly in technical and logistical matters, giving our customers the service they need in their daily work’, Carl continues. ‘Most of our business is custom designed products made to order, so for us and our customers, an efficient exchange of information is critical'.
All of our Area Sales Managers will remain in their respective geographical markets. 'The knowledge and close relationships we have today with our customers will not disappear further on. That’s a promise’, Carl ends.
The new Customers Centres will stepwise start handling enquiries and orders in autumn 2019 and continue during 2020. All customers affected by the changed way of communication will receive information about their new Habia contact details in due time.
