Last year, it was announced that Habia Cable and HEW-KABEL would be brought together as one, combining the strengths of both to create a leading global specialist cable and connectivity group. From today onward, this union of our companies will be reflected in the market, as the new group begins trading under the unified name Habia.

A new visual identity and logo have also been created to complement the new brand, which is being launched publicly for the first time today at the Smart Production Solutions (SPS) trade show being held in Nuremberg, Germany. The new modern look reflects the groups’ position as an innovative partner, providing solutions beyond the ordinary.

“HEW-KABEL and Habia Cable share a long history as manufacturers of custom cables for demanding applications. After completing the merger of the two groups, we look forward to working under one brand, ready to support our customers with the cable and connectivity challenges of today – and tomorrow.”

As the legal entities (HEW-KABEL GmbH and the various Habia Cable companies) are not being altered or renamed, there will be no formal impact on customers or day-to-day operations, and customers can continue to expect the same level of excellence in products and services they have been used to.

A new and updated website at is also being launched as part of the Habia brand, although the existing HEW-KABEL website will remain online to provide continuity.
