Increased current ratings
All of the cables in our Hi-Flex™ product range are built using high-temperature insulation materials, resulting in an increased current rating compared to standard insulation materials. This also improves the space envelope of our Hi-Flex™ cables, since a smaller, lighter core can often be used for the same power rating as a larger, standard cable.
Mechanically robust flexible power cables
Our Hi-Flex™ cables are also mechanically robust and ensure a long flex-life by reducing strain on cable terminations and the Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) of each cable.

The Hi-Flex product range was initially designed for use in military Hybrid Electric Drive (HED) vehicles to meet an increasing demand for higher power ratings without the usual increase in copper size and weight.
