How long do we store your Personal Data?

Your personal data is stored as long as there is a need to preserve them in order to fulfil the purposes for which the data was collected in accordance with this Integrity Policy or for as long as Habia is obligated by law to store your personal data. Habia also stores the data it requires to be able to establish, exercise or defend any legal claims that could arise. Thereafter, your personal data will be deleted.

Habia saves your personal data collected for recruitment purposes to evaluate your possibility of gaining employment with Habia until the vacancy for which you applied has been filled. If you have applied for a position without it being advertised, your application will be held until we have managed to assess whether you will be considered for employment with Habia within a reasonable period of time. We also store the data required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims that could arise as a result of your application.

The contact information for company representatives is stored for the time that Habia deems the data necessary for maintaining the relationship with the company. Erasure occurs when it comes to Habia’s knowledge that the data is no longer adequate or relevant for the purpose.

Transfers of Personal Data to Third parties and Third countries

Habia may transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA. If personal data is transferred to a country outside the EU/EEA, Habia will take measures to ensure that the personal data continues to be protected and will also take necessary measures to ensure a legal transfer of the personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA.

Habia uses suppliers of software for product development and internal organisation, suppliers of marketing services, and suppliers of cloud services, which operates in the U.S. Due to Habia’s use of these suppliers’ services and software, your personal data may be transferred to the U.S. Habia has secured that your rights are protected when your personal data is transferred to the U.S. by entering into the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with these service providers. Regarding personal data that is processed on social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, we refer to the privacy policies of each social media for information on how such companies processes personal data. Habia purpose of its processing of personal data on social media is to enable representatives for customers, potential customers and partners to interact and contact Habia through such social media. This is aimed to contribute to a good relationship between Habia and its customers and partners as well as to make Habia’s customer service easily accessible through several channels. The processing is necessary for the purposes of Habia’s legitimate interest of marketing its trademark and its products.

Right of access
