With a unique understanding of customers' requirements, ranging from permanent installations to highly dynamic applications, we have developed a comprehensive range of high performance materials and solutions.

Deep knowledge combined with wide experience

Our central Research and Development organization works out of laboratories in Upplands Väsby and Söderfors, Sweden. Our expertise is focused on mechanical, electrical and chemical properties of polymer materials and cables, the understanding of standards and norms, and the test and measurement of materials and finished products. The laboratories are equipped with the latest test and measurement instruments.

In addition to our central research and development organisation, each factory has its own competence in cable or harness design and relevant process technology. At some of our sales offices, we also employ experienced sales engineers who quickly can develop custom solutions to meet our customers’ unique needs.  

Conductor (wire)

The central component of any cable, the conductor is the term for the metallic wire or wires that carry the signal and/or power through the cable.


Insulation refers to the layer of plastic applied directly over the conductor. Chemically pure materials are often ideal for use as insulation.

Shielding (screening, braiding)

Shielding can be applied for mechanical, electrical and magnetic protection.

Sheathing (jacket)

Sheating refers to the outer-most layer of plastic that is applied to a cable. The sheath (or jacket as it is also commonly known) is there to provide mechanical protection for the insulated cores and other components within a cable.

Tapes (binders) and fillers

Tapes (or binders) and fillers are applied to improve flexibility or roundness of the cable. They can also protect the insulation or sheath, or ease production.
