What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file downloaded on to your computer by the browser when you access websites. Like virtual door keys, cookies unlock a computer's memory and allow a website to recognise users when they return to a site by opening doors to different content or services. Like a key, a cookie itself does not contain information, but when it is read by a browser it can help a website improve the service delivered.
Two common types of cookies are used on most websites; session cookies, which are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the site, and persistent cookies, which remain in the cookie file of your browser for much longer (though how long will depend on the lifetime of the specific cookie). Cookies can not be used by themselves to identify you.
How to handle your cookies
Your web browser allows you to change the settings for cookies. Go to settings for your web browser to manage your cookies. You can choose to block all cookies, only accept first-party cookies, or erase cookies when you shut down your web browser. Here you can learn how to do it.

Statistics and third-party cookies
Anonymous data of our visitors are used for analysis in Google Analytics; how many visitors visit our webpage, which pages are most popular, the date and time, how often etc. This helps us understand how the visitor uses the website.
The third-party software we use for lead generation identifies company IP addresses in an encrypted way, returning basic company information available (i.e. company name, size, country, address, website address, phone number) together with the statistics of the company’s visits at habia.com.
Statistics and information retrieved are only used by Habia for business and marketing analysis purposes.
Links to other sites
This site contain links to sites owned by third parties. However, such linking is for the convenience of the visitor and Habia assumes no responsibility for the content, information accuracy or privacy compliance of the sites concerned.
